WINDY - Wes Montgomery Cover
Wes - my lifelong 'hero & teacher' - Always loved his version of this song
The Solo section (in the middle) I pinched some ideas from a live version I saw just the other week here on RUclips.
I added a little chordal passage at the end
with the wonders of 'AI' thanks to 'Moises' - I could remove Wes from the original track - and leave most of the backing in place without to many artifacts - I redid the bass and added some extra pads etc.
Song originally by 'The Association' in 1967 and covered by Wes the same year on his 'Day in the Life' album

Gotta be 'Jazzmaster' for this track (main theme) I put some harmony lines in etc - just to add some texture Always Loved the rawness of the 'Original Ventures' version from the 60's The Intro riff is so nice - Using a Black Mountain Thumb Pick (has a spring for extra control) - which I really like.

I added an extra section - and tried to come up with a 'chordal solo' - in the vein of something that Wes may have played !! All good Fun - and love of Wes Montgomery Unfortunately 'No Thumb' :) - Direct line out from Katana Mk 2 Amp Managed to get some of the big band and Orchestral backing from the original recording with the aid of 'Moises' AI

Always one of my all time favourite tracks - my band at the time had the privilege to support Love Sculpture a couple of times back in the late 60's They played this great live - as you'd expect. Completely one take - which was a bonus for me :) and added some extra delay and reverb afterwards when editing.

From 1971 I think - Lovely solo from guitarist Tony Hicks - which I think I get pretty much accurately. Involved with a HOLLIES TRIBUTE SHOW - so been learning all the songs Great and very clever band were THE HOLLIES Tony Hicks - really underrated

With all due respect, you sound like a kid in a high school band. Don't let anyone blow smoke up your ass by telling you this was a good rendition of this classic Wes Montgomery tune. It sounds like you're fighting with your guitar instead of just playing the song. If you're going to do a cover of an iconic artist and put it on RUclips, you've got to be better.
